Fitji · Closed beta

A pocket companion that grows with your movement.

Fitji turns the movement your phone already captures into care for a virtual companion. Steps, workouts, and sleep all count.

iOS opens in TestFlight. Android requests are approved by email.

How it works

Three steps, roughly one egg.

  1. 01

    Move

Walk around. Pace dramatically. Take the long route. Fitji counts the effort.

  2. 02

    Nurture

Your movement keeps your companion growing and happy. The more you move, the more it thrives.

  3. 03

    Play

Collect items, unlock surprises, and keep your companion entertained between walks.

Why Fitji

Your call

Your feedback is a game changer. Literally.

During closed beta, players can vote on what they want improved in the Beta Feedback section of Profile. Art, animations, balance, and gameplay mechanics are all still being shaped, and may change based on what our players actually enjoy, request, or lovingly complain about.

Fitji notices the little things: the walk you almost skipped, the streak you saved, and the mushroom your companion absolutely thinks it earned.
Questions

What people ask before they hatch.

What is Fitji?

Fitji is a fitness companion game for iOS and Android where your real everyday movement grows a virtual companion. Your steps incubate an egg, your workouts build a bond with the companion that hatches from it, and your sleep earns a next-day boost. It is a playful movement game rather than a workout tracker: no calorie counting, no meal plan, just a small reason to move today and come back tomorrow.

Is Fitji free?

Yes. Fitji is free to play, with no in-app purchases and no subscription. The in-game currency is earned by moving, not bought.

Does Fitji work on Android as well as iPhone?

Yes, Fitji runs on both iOS and Android. On iPhone it reads activity from Apple HealthKit, and on Android it reads activity from Health Connect. During closed beta, iPhone access is through TestFlight and Android access is granted by request after manual approval.

How do you get into the Fitji beta?

iPhone users can join the closed beta directly through TestFlight. Android users submit the Google account connected to their Play Store through the beta request form, and receive a private opt-in link by email once the request is approved.

What health data does Fitji use?

Fitji reads steps, distance, heart rate, sleep sessions and typed workout sessions from Apple HealthKit on iOS and Health Connect on Android. Daily step, active-minute and sleep totals plus workout sessions are stored so your companion stays in sync across devices. Other values such as flights climbed and stand hours are used only on your device and are never sent to our servers. The privacy policy has the full detail.

How many steps does it take to hatch the egg in Fitji?

The egg hatches after 5,000 steps or 30 active minutes, whichever you reach first. You do not have to hatch it the moment it is ready. The egg waits until you tap it.

Does Fitji punish you for missing a day?

No. Missing days pauses your companion's progress but never destroys it, and your companion cannot die. Fitji shows mood as a qualitative state rather than a decaying number, so a missed day costs you momentum rather than everything you have built.
