The Fitji beta changelog.

A public record of the parts players can see: what changed, what became steadier, and what is still being tuned inside the closed beta.

Last updated August 7, 2026

Closed beta

Real changes, still in motion.

Fitji is being tested privately on iPhone and Android. Features and balancing can change as players use them. This page records meaningful player-facing updates; it does not turn every internal refactor into a confetti cannon.

Latest update

August 7, 2026

Activity totals now correct themselves cleanly.

  • More accurate recent activity. When Apple HealthKit or Health Connect corrects a daily step total downward, Fitji now accepts the newest authoritative total instead of preserving an earlier inflated number.
  • Journey stays in agreement. Available and revealed Journey distance now follows the corrected activity total, so the path cannot remain ahead of the movement recorded by the phone.
  • Streak and Resilience catch up. Recent activity history reconciles more reliably across Home and relationship progress.

This was an unglamorous but important beta fix: the companion should react to the movement the phone actually recorded, including corrections.

Earlier in August

August 5, 2026

A steadier meadow and clearer Home.

  • Easier Habitat arranging. Objects are easier to select and move when one sits above another.
  • Cleaner Journal state. Old sightings no longer repeat or reappear as unread after they have already been seen.
  • More reliable returns to Home. Activity details and the main companion view recover more cleanly after navigating elsewhere.
  • Resilience and Streak clarity. Their detail views explain what each value means and what changes it.
  • Mini-game gesture fixes. Stray taps and aim drags are less likely to end a round by accident.
Mellow Meadow

July 29, 2026

Journey, Habitat, and the night sky became connected.

  • Journey paths. Daily movement became travel distance through Mellow Meadow, with discoveries that can become postcards in Journal.
  • A growing Habitat. Players can plant and harvest Snackberries, Pocket Carrots, Tomatumbles, and Bluebobbles, then keep the food in the Bag.
  • Stargazer’s Telescope. The night activity returned with 14 core constellations and 3 seasonal discoveries.
  • Mood with reasons. Home makes companion mood clearer and points to actions such as food, Journey, Quality Time, games, or toys.
The first wider loop

July 22, 2026

More places to go after the hatch.

  • Habitat and Journey. Two new places gave companions a home that changes and a daily path to explore.
  • More to play. New mini-games arrived alongside a local party mode for two people in the same room.
  • Journal as a timeline. Milestones and postcards gained a place to accumulate over the life of a companion.
  • A gentler first hour. The beginning of the companion experience was smoothed out for new beta players.
